Dear Sponsors,

 

On behalf of our Flood Relief Committee of the Nyikó Valley (Transylvania) we would like to inform you that during Autumn we made significant progresses on our rebuilding projects. In Kobátfalva we finished the landscape architecture of the village center (together with the Environmental Partnership Foundation), we built two new family houses (for Lőrincz and Siklódi families), painted the inner side of the common house etc.

In Nagykadács we made the first part of the plumbing project, in Siménfalva we made technical plans for modernizing the community center and for a new church council hall, in Székelyszentmihály we started the landscape architecture of the village center, we built a barn for an old flood victim etc. Please find enclosed some photos regarding these.

From the committee’s general plans we cleaned and controlled part of the Nyikó bed; now we are working on the helping the flood victim students and also the flood victim enterprises etc. The community development programs lead by the Association for Community Relations and the Environmental Partnership Foundation are running with our assistance. We will continue our work in the new year.
